On voit l’acropole. La proximité de l’hotel avec le centre ville. Le roof top mais pas le soir car il fait faire la queue pour y aller.
La chambre n’était pas tres propre et les murs mal réparés (peinture non faite par endroit)
Booking précisait que les petits déjeuners étaient inclus alors que non (+10€/per)

The bed sheet did not fit the mattress and consequently we found ourselves sleeping on the mattress, which appeared new and clean but it was just weird.

Great location and a lovely rooftop bar with a beautiful view.

Zeer kleine kamer met uitzicht op de kathedraal maar de ruiten waren zeer vuil, goede douche. Ontbijt niet in buffetvorm maar met een menukeuze. Ontbijt op het dakterras met mooi uitzicht op de Akropolis

Location, location, location. Great spot in the centre, close to all businesses and restaurants. Has lift, which is a must for us travelling with heavy suitcases. Nice rooftop restaurant with great views!
We only stayed 2 nights, and would not recommend for longer stay. Bathrooms has no curtain or shower door, no shelving for own toiletries, and it was not clean properly. Upon entering the room we could smell the humidity in the room coming from the bathroom. One of the towels given to us was very old and even had a hole in it. Our room was facing the city, windows were very dirty and had no privacy curtains and the building next door has full view to our bedroom. Had to close the night curtains all the time to avoid people Looking into our room which made our room dark all the time.

Girl at the reception checked in us 2 hours ealier , which was very pkeasant
Room # 206 was terrible,
No fresh air even when we ooened the window . Bcasuse hotels all air conditioing systems were located in front of the window.
Also, returning to the hotel in the afternoon, i discovered receptionist and workers in my room, maintaining air conditioning systens. Without notice, its unacceptable

Comfort, quiet & a stubborn lock.
Good location off Monistiraki Square, busy nightlife area but the room was soundproof. Bed & room were comfortable
After hours checkin was a little fragmented. after retriebing the RFID key, the lock wouldn't open. on site management from their restaurant yhen spent 45 minutes attempting to reprogram key & access room unsuccessfully. After 2 sets of physical krys were tried, access was schieved. No worries, electronics fail.Comfort

Comfy, cozy, convenient and suitable.
If you want ultimate comfort, private luxury or huge rooms, this is probably isnt your space.
However, if you want to be in the heart of athens near Plaka (some quieter area), near metro and able to access the city with ease this location is hard to beat. Its also a place of convenience. We were only here two nights before heading to Crete, we wanted to explore athens, do some tours, but more importantly have quick and convenient access to food, drink and a comfy bed.
We stayed on the 4th floor and LOVED the convenience of going upstairs on the roof deck for some of our meals and a night cap. Staff were excellent and very attentive to needs. There was a 12 euro breakfast deal for guests that was a good value.
The room we had was the acropolis suite, it was cozy, functional and had a very comfortable bed. We did not experience really much noise and for the price and roofdeck convenience we cannot complain.
We reccomend Ciel athens for anyone looking for convenience, a proper room and prime location.

Nightmare stay at Ciel - bed infested with bed bugs, no working AC
Location was good - centralised easy to access the sites
Bed bug–infested beds. I woke up with severe bed bug bites all over my legs, which is extremely alarming and completely unacceptable. The reception area is also very small and uncomfortable. In addition, people who are not staying at the hotel are using the lifts to access the rooftop, causing congestion and long waits—we often had to wait several rounds before being able to get in. On top of that, a couple who were traveling with us and staying in another room had no working air conditioning for two consecutive nights. Despite reporting it, the technician was unable to fix the issue, and they were told the hotel was fully booked - no other room provided. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Hôtel très bruyant en cause un rooftop au 6eme étage avec de la musique très forte, impossible de dormir.sans compter une église très proche qui sonne toute les heures et même les demies heures.aucune sécurité dans cet hôtel on y rentre comme dans un moulin sans passer devant l'accueil.
L'ascenseur est toujours pris par les clients du rooftop donc prenez l'escalier. La climatisation bruyante et le petit coffre fort ne marche pas..

Το δωμάτιο μας 'έβλεπε' πίσω και συνεχόμενος θόρυβος από μηχανήματα εξαερισμού η μεγάλα ψυγεία προφανώς δεν μας άφησε να κοιμηθούμε καλά και τα 2 βράδια. Location was really good, staff were very friendly and helpful
The bathroom was really small, no windows and the shower had only a small glass door on the side, so the bathroom was flooding every time we tried to take a shower. There was also a dirty sock which did not belong to us behind one of the pillows on the small sofa. On the second day, we left the room and left the ‘do not disturb’ sign on our door as we did not want staff cleaning our room. Because of that we have left our clothes and personal belongings scattered around the room. When we went back to rest and shower (as we had to leave in about an hour for an appointment), we saw that our door room was opened and that technicians were in our room, fixing the a/c. I appreciate that the a/c may have needed some maintenance but they went in our room with no notice, and as mentioned our things were scattered in the room since we did not anticipate anyone entering. On top of that, we were in a harry and we needed to shower and get ready to leave but it took them about 20-30 minutes to finish. The staff were apologetic about this.

The location was perfect and very convenient.
The third bed was not a sofa bed but an actual bed, which was very comfortable. However the double bed was tired and not very comfortable. The room size was also good for 3 adults.
We also really liked the shampoo and conditioner provided in the room. The cleaning overall was good and well maintained.
The lack of closets and storage space in the room created quite a bit of chaos, especially since we stayed as 3 adults. We had to use our luggage as a closet throughout the stay.
There were also no shelves in the bathroom to place our personal items.
Additionally, the windows were very dirty and not soundproof, which affected the overall comfort of the room.

L'emplacement proche des attractions touristiques, la chambre spacieuse et bien équipée, le bar du rooftop avec une vue magnifique.
Très bruyant et pas de double vitrage. Les rues autour sont très animées et les cloches de la cathédrale sonnaient toute la nuit, les boules quies ne suffisaient pas.
