J’étais dans la chambre 8 j’avais de la misère à dormir ça donnait sur la route avec les autos. C’était un bon 15 à 20 minutes de marche du centre . Pas grand chose autour à part pharmacie. Je me suis fait imposer à payer 1000 mxn ou donnait mon passeport à la réception pour garanti de chambre . Jusqu’à présent après 7 jours je n’ai toujours pas eu mon remboursement.

Összességében egy szuper kis szálláshely, hangulatos, öbölre néző és nagyon kedves személyzettel. Ajánlom!
Az elhelyezkedés nagyon jó volt, a személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész, az étteremben az ételek és az italok nagyon finomak voltak.
Volt egy kis problémánk a zárral, azonnal segítettek és hívtak egy szakembert aki elhárította a hibát.
Az étterem egy kicsit drága volt, de ez mondjuk úgy általánosságban az egész szigetre igaz.
Illetve szóltunk a személyzetnek hogy az előző lakó ott hagyta a letört körmét a sarokban, takarítsák fel a következő alkalommal, mégse takarították el amíg ott voltunk, de lehet hogy csak nem értettük meg egymást amikor szóltunk ezzel kapcsolatban.

Co do odległości od atrakcji nie rozpisuję się, każdy może sprawdzić. Sama lokalizacja jest urocza, nad "laguną". Miła obsługa na recepcji, można zostawić bagaże na przechowanie. Woda w basenie nieco chłodna, a sam basen raczej skromny. Można wypocząć na leżakach. Pokój bardzo duży, z aneksem kuchennym. Łóżko dla dzieci za małe na dwójkę, więc jeden spał z nami na ogromny podwójnym łóżku. Generalnie czysto i bez zastrzeżeń.
Obok przebiega ulica i czasem da się słyszeć hałas, ale akurat nasz pokój wychodził na dziedziniec, a tu niestety było do północy słychać gości albo obsługę. Okno w pokoju jest wysoko, więc de facto nie ma okna.

Hotel prix d un très bon hotel a plus de 400 euros la nuit mais qui a le niveau d un hotel de max 140 euros, et encore...
Sol de tout l appartement d'une saleté rarement constatée dans tous les hotels visités durant notre voyage à travers le quintanaa roo. Vous vous en doutez, un léger fumet bien désagréable accompagnait également cet appartement tombant en décrépitude! Un vrai bonheur !!!!Murs défraîchi et sales. La douche pas nettoyée. Moisissure dans sale de bain car pas d aération + murs sales ainsi que le sol bien entendu. Même les chaises sur la terrasse sont pourries !
Lits beaucoup trop mous: un mousse de 10 cm en guise de surmatelas ! Les oreillers beaucoup trop epais impossible de dormir dessus. Les draps étaient tachés de belles tâches jaunâtres!! Canapé lit dans la chambre qui mériterait un bon nettoyage. La seule chose que j'ai osé poser dessus est mon sac de voyage. Porte fenêtre côté chambre pas complètement fermable. Un jour de 2 cm dans le bas. Pas de lampes de chevet dans les chambres, juste une lampe bien forte dans votre visage...très agréable pour lire quelques pages avant de s'endormir !!Ils auraient pu se rattraper sur le déjeuner, mais il n en fût rien. Certes le café était bon mais nous avions du choisir entre les oeufs, les fruits ou les pancakes alors que les autres hotels visités incluaient les 3 dans le déjeuner proposé. Wifi de qualité médiocre malgré les 4 antennes wifi différentes !!! et de plus pas possible de capter la 4g5g.
Petit détail non des moindres, nous avons bien entendu chercher à trouver un arrangement avec le manager...cependant, celui-ci n'a pas daigné nous rencontrer !!

Good location, nice amenities, but too expensive for a week!
There was an extra fee per person to stay in the room. If you book a room with a king sized bed, it should be typically assumed that there will be 2 people staying in the room. They charged $35 per person per night. Seems like such a scam! The front receptionist that checked us in was so rude about it.

Lovely Property
I enjoyed my stay at Bahia Tolok. The location is nice. I preferred being outside of town where it would be less busy. The location is central on the island making it quick and easy to get to either end. You do need a golf cart or car/taxi though. The property is beautiful. Great view of sunset! Staff were kind and helpful.
My room was listed on Booking.com as having a patio with table and chairs. This was not correct. The patio shown in the listing was connected to a different room. I am not sure if this is an error on Booking.com side or on the hotel side. I suspect it's a Booking.com error.

Pretty good
It’s got a beautiful view. It’s a little out of the way but still close enough to walk to a lot of different areas
It’s right on a main road and our room faced the road so it was really noisy from street traffic. There was also the light from the stairs always on which shines into the room. The bed was exceptionally soft. They put a large piece of foam on the top of the bed and it just made it way too soft and the sheets kept slipping off due to this as well. The Internet was a consistent issue but I don’t think that is necessarily the hotels fault.

Needs more places to put towels. The beds are too soft and not comfortable. The maisonette room was right over the main road and very noisy. Did not enjoy being on the balcony smelling exhaust. They were sanding and painting chairs so we also couldn’t really enjoy the back area. Upon checkout they were implying that we had lost a set of dishes (counted every one and asked how many there were to start with) and wanted us to pay for a stained towel (whatever it was would wash off as we didn’t do anything abnormal to the towels)

Great property with amazing staff and facilities, but WiFi needs major improvement for remote worker
The staff was absolutely amazing, especially the front desk team who were incredibly helpful. The amenities were fantastic and the property was well-maintained. I enjoyed the walks around the area even though the location was far from everything - I knew that going in. However, the WiFi in the room was completely unusable, which made it impossible to work remotely. This would be a great place for digital nomads if they fixed the internet connectivity. Also had an issue at the restaurant where they tried to charge me twice for coffee - once for the initial cup and again for a refill, which seemed sketchy.
The WiFi was the biggest issue - completely unusable in the room, making remote work impossible. The restaurant billing practice of charging separately for coffee refills was disappointing and felt sketchy.

Beautiful place but lacking in the small necessities to make it comfortable.
It was decorated beautifully with so many areas around the property to go sit and relax. Each room was unique and lovely.
The rooms we booked were set up with kitchenettes but were not equipped with things you would need to cook. Beautifully decorated rooms but poorly stocked.

I liked that there was a kitchenette, for budget friendly. The staff was helpful when needed assistance like the stove top and the pull-down blinds. Lovely natural wood furniture like the desk and chair set, but the chair was heavy when I needed to pull up and sit.
The side window that faces the hallway can not be locked, especially for a lone traveler. It does have a mesh screen if you want to have the window open.

Scammers!!!
My experience at this hotel was simply terrible. From the moment I arrived, the staff was arrogant and unprofessional. Instead of offering good service, they seemed to be looking for any excuse to charge unjustified extra fees.
They tried to charge me for towels and keys, as if it were normal to penalize guests for basic services. It was clear that all they care about is taking your money, not making sure you have a pleasant stay.
The owner was rude and completely disrespectful, unable to handle the situation with kindness or empathy. They have no interest in solving problems, only in blaming the guest and squeezing as much money as possible.
Don’t fall into this trap. There are many better places in Mexico where you'll be treated with respect and honesty. Avoid this one if you want a decent experience.

Wish I could have stayed longer.
The hotel was beautiful. The scenery was awesome from my room. The bed was comfortable. Hotel stuff was excellent.The young man at front desk was very kind when we asked questions about different things. The hotel also stored our luggage while we toured the island.The restaurant staff had excellent recommendations, and the chef came out and talked with us about the exquisite dishes that he had prepared. All the dishes were delicious..
So when I booked the hotel, I didn't realize that I had made accommodations for one. When I got there, the staff pointed out that there was an extra charge for another person ($35). Typically, it is assumed that it's two people for the price you're seeing on screen. (Booking, please fix this with the hotel.) They hotel didn't mention in it's extra part that they had golf carts for rental, which would have saved me the hassle of renting one by ferry. Also, why was the hotel golf carts the same price to rent as the one by ferry. I my opinion this should have been a little cheaper (Bahia Tolok correct this).
No robes in my suite, which it would have been nice.

Pros: The room was very nice and tastefully designed! The salt water pool was very relaxing. We had an amazing fish dinner at the restaurant that is adjoining and the waiter was fantastic! The dock was beautiful and we were able to see lots of ocean life.
Cons: One of the front desk workers was not the kindest - seemed put off when we asked for anything. The free breakfast is a choice of eggs with sausage, pancakes or a fruit plate - it was definitely not enough to fill a belly but was still nice. Would be nice to offer more breakfast options. The view is nice but note that the water has heavy vegetation and so the crystal clear waters that you see for Isla Mujeres will not translate the same in the bay.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The room was great and the bed was super comfy.
Our free waterfront breakfast was delightful, though I would avoid the sausage, unless you like hot dogs. Ernesto at the front desk was very accommodating and very helpful with everything from supplying towels to providing useful suggestions.

Vraiment un bel emplacement! Tranquille, bon petit resto sur place. Le personnel attentionné! Nous avons eu un enjeu au départ sur le fait que c’était un forfait déjeuner inclus, mais Hôtel.com et le Bahia Tolok ont réglé ça rapidement. Location sur place du kart de golf un atout!! Près de tout!! Nous avions la chambre penthouse et nous avions une section privée avec piscine sur le toit à nous seuls incluant un balcon immense!! On recommande très fortement! Et en plus, un membre du personnel nous a fait 2 lifts lorsque nous n’avions pas le kart de golf, incluant notre changement d’hôtel à Isla Mujeres! Fantastique!!!

A little bit far from the pier and downtown, 15-20min foot from the pier to the hotel, but you can also rent golf cars or motor if you have license and take a taxi if no license. So it doesn’t really matter:)

Nothing short of spectacular.cant wait to come back again
From the moment we walked in we knew we’d be happy to be here. It’s a short 3-5 minute golf cart/taxi ride from the ferry station. About a 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach with clear waters and there’s a little restaurant and bar right in the dock. Which the hotel has some hammocks on the dock and in the water. We loved going out in the morning and at night to see the sea life. The front desk attendants were amazing. Specially Ernesto at the front desk and the restaurant staff were super attentive. Such a little gem.
Nothing. The pool and the water were great. The drinks were super solid.

Terrible customer service
Disappointed with the Lack of Hospitality
We were really looking forward to our stay at Bahia Tolok, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The room we were given faced the street and was extremely noisy — we had traffic sounds and barking dogs keeping us up. We politely asked if we could move to a quieter room and were shocked when they told us we’d have to pay for another full night, at a rate higher than what we originally paid.
We even offered to forfeit our 1000 pesos deposit just to make a change, but the staff wouldn’t budge or offer any kind of help or compromise. We didn’t feel heard or valued as guests. In the end, we packed our things and left at 10 p.m. to stay somewhere else.
It’s a shame, because the property itself seemed promising. But the lack of flexibility and basic hospitality made it a place I wouldn’t recommend — especially if you’re looking for a restful experience or staff willing to work with you in good faith.

Peaceful and cool vibe
The room was huge and comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable. We only stayed here one night but would stay longer next time. Loved the vibe there, was well decorated and quiet. We will definitely stay here again.
There isn't any beach, but we knew that when we booked it. So really, there's nothing to not like about this place.

Exceptional
A dream location!
Ernesto is incredible, sweet and helpful always stepping up and going above and beyond. The restaurant is very good, great service and we spotted a couple of sting rays and barracudas in the evening. They have a singer on Saturday evening. Sunsets are breathtaking. We couldn’t have been happier ❤️

A nice place on a very busy island.
The room and the outdoor areas were really nice.
We like to cook some of our own meals and part of the reason for choosing the location was that it had a kitchen. It was however not really useful for a family of 4, as it only had cutlery, etc. for 2 people, no bowls or pots, but only 2 pans, which could only be used one at a time due to the size of the stove.

A Peaceful Stay W/ Incredible Service
My family and I had a fantastic week-long stay at Bahia Tolok! The staff and the service they provide are exemplary. Mirna went out of her way from start to finish; working with me to book the perfect room, WhatsApping room photos, pre-reserving a golf cart, to arranging our snorkel excursion and even lending us a cooler for our day on the water! (Awesome snorkel trip btw!) The rest of the staff, too, were always ready with a warm smile, eager to assist us in any way. Our room was simple, clean, and had the most comfortable beds! We enjoyed our morning coffees on the balcony. The hotel offers daily fresh towels and cleaning if you want it. Our 2 daughters were thrilled with the creative towel animals! The salt water pool is refreshing, and the grounds are lovingly attended to. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and relaxing. We enjoyed a delicious sunset meal at the restaurant, sitting directly on the dock, over looking the water, and with live music! 3 of us are vegan, and the chef came to our table several times to discuss options. Our waiter, Brian, was attentive and took great care of us. It was an evening to remember. The hotel is located mid-island. Walkers can enjoy heading south to explore the local neighborhood, with restaurants, bars, and fruit/veggies stands, close by. The golf cart we rented through the hotel was fantastic, and we used it daily to explore the island. Thank you, Bahia Tolok, we will stay with you again ❤️

My husband, my toddler and I stayed for a long weekend at Tolok. Absolutely recommend. I was a little nervous bc I hadn’t heard much about it, but this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. The honeymoon suite was fabulous. Nicely appointed and had its own little balcony. The salt water pool was clean and beautiful. The nights were quiet, the staff was kind, and the restaurant was convenient and well priced for breakfast. Loved our stay. 10/10

Noisy hotel, no curfew for guests.
When asked if we could get a bottled water dispenser, he didn’t want to make the effort so replied, “We don’t have those.” Later, they had them!
Sparsely furnished – micro, coffee maker, 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 forks, knives and spoons. No ice trays, no burner, no pans.
Loud group just below our window at 12:45 a.m. I asked them to quiet down. 15 minutes later, still loud, so I went down the unsafe steps, found the desk clerk and yelled “Hey!” twice to wake him and ask him to inform the guests to quiet down.
Next night, unsupervised children noisy just below our windows, in pool. At 10 p.m. I asked them to go inside. Next day, we asked the desk clerk to inform the families about noise after 10 and we were told, “We have no restrictions on our pool.”

If you don’t mind walking, the property is conveniently located about a 20-minute walk from North Beach and slightly less to Chedraui (their local grocery store) and the ballpark. We rarely needed a taxi, as walking was more convenient with several attractions in the area.
However, given the price, I feel I paid more than it was worth and would likely choose a different place next time. I found myself having to ask daily for things that were initially promised, such as cleaning, fresh drinking water, and towels. Unfortunately, these services were inconsistent, and on some days, even after asking, replacements still weren’t provided.

We will definitely be going back to Bahia Tolok! Loved the people, location, and the restaurant - not affiliated with the hotel but is located on-site and is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. Also, the hotel rents golf carts which I highly recommend. Their pricing is fair so don't waste your time price shopping. We did and when we got back all the carts had been rented. Great location if you want to go south or north for the day or both. We really loved the vibe here!
Everything was awesome with the exception of the toilet and lack of light in our room. The back bowl of the toilet did not fill with water in a timely fashion and we found ourselves having to transfer water from the sink to the back bowl of the toilet in order to get it to flush. The other thing was the 1 window in the room. It was up super high up on the wall and so there was no natural light in the room during the day. Mind you, we purchased the cheapest room option so this is not a complaint. Just something we will consider next time we return and spend a little extra for a room with a view.

Beautiful Stay!
Bahia Tolok is a beautiful, quiet and private. My husband and I decided to stay here after our regular stay was booked up. We fell in love with the staff and views. The restaurant on site is a must try! The chef came to our table with his family to check in on us. The food was some of the best on the island. We stayed in the Penthouse, it is a walk up some steep stairs but worth every step. We will be back.

I enjoyed my stay there and I felt safe and I met wonderful people and it was close to the ferry.
I like that everything was in one place there the restaurant was superb and I even ate the salads. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my time there.
It’s not that I didn’t really like it this but I like to swim in the ocean and you would really have to take a taxi to a swimming beach as this was where the boat stopped, but it was still very beautiful!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! They were incredible at helping us arrange for transport to and from the airport to the ferry and from the ferry to their hotel and they had golf cart rental right there for us as well. We will most definitely be back again and highly recommend this hotel! The staff Were amazing and the facilities were beautiful and clean.
