Nice hotel for adults
Cleaning of the room could have been better. We stayed 10 nights and floors under the bedside tables were covered in dust all the time. Our room was located below the food restaurant and the noice of furnitures being moved along floors could be clearly heard. The radio was too loud in the pool area. However, we recommend this well-located hotel, which has partial access to the beach area by elevator.

Great location hotel. Couple of small irks
Stayed at this hotel for a week with a few friends, firstly the location excellent. The hotel is a little dated but I found the room to be adequate, the air-conditioning isn't that powerful but just about does the job. We were half board and breakfast and evening meal choices are well stocked and due to the hotel being quite small is rarely busy.
There are a couple of things that I would change. Around the pool it really lacks a pulse, if you like peace and quite and ambient music then you're quids in here. I felt a bit of chart music in the background would bring it to life a little. For breakfast you can get juice, water and coffees but for the evening meal water is charged for which irritated me a little.
Has a great rooftop bar, pleasant staff and we would come again.

Our third stay at Hotel Fenix ????
We have recently spent two weeks at Hotel Fenix, it was our 3rd stay and we personally find it hard to find fault.
The property has an old school Spanish feel about it, the bar has moved since our last holiday here and the refurbishment is absolutely stunning. It feels very glamorous, we loved the art deco styling and the colour scheme. The interior designer has done a fantastic job.
Hotel Fenix isn’t a huge place and this definitely helps give the property a quiet peaceful vibe. We always find breakfast a very civilised affair, it never really feels busy and every morning we were able to enjoy our meal on the sun drenched terrace. Likewise the pool area whilst quite compact is perfectly adequate, we never struggled to find a sun lounger and the pool bar serves drinks throughout the day.
On this occasion we were given room 205, a decent size with a generous en suite and a huge terrace. Initially we were disappointed because it was east facing but we discovered that it was actually quite nice to enjoy a little bit of shade in the afternoon when we found 30 degrees poolside too hot ????
The Hotel location is perfect because it offers easy access to the beach as well as the vibrant old town. There are some fantastic restaurants and busy bars within walking distance and if you want to travel out to other resorts along the coast then the Railway station as well as the bus station are both within easy walking distance from Hotel Fenix.
Again we had a lovely holiday and we will definitely book again in the future.

na fotkách vyzeral hotel naozaj exkluzívne ale realita nás naozaj sklamala a zbytočne stresovala. Nato že je to hotel pre dospelých tam bolo viac obmedzení ako v hotely pre rodiny. Izba nebola dostatočne uprataná a páchla zatuhnuto.. a bola tam hlavne nuda, žiadna hudba nehrala na večer na terase ani počas dňa pri bazéne

Great visit, great location
Been before a few years ago but hotel looks a lot better now. Has a slight problem with 1st room and reception arrange a swap very quickly.
Bet location in Torremolinos with internal access to both the old town and the beach.

Nice hotel with room for improvement
Just returned from a week’s holiday the hotel is situated in the ideal position for both the old town and the sea front, we found the hotel to be lovely and quiet and relaxing, the staff are very pleasant and helpful, our room which was on the 3rd floor was overlooking the pool it was spacious and clean but somewhat looking rather tired as to be honest was the majority of the hotel. the food was a bit of a mixed bag the breakfast was fine but the evening meals were a bit hit and miss, the food at best was only lukewarm and the variety was limited and sometimes the food on offer just didn't go together I’m not saying it was bad but with a little thought it could have been a lot better, having said that we had a nice weeks holidal and enjoyed our stay at the Fenix

4 Night Stay
We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel to be very clean , comfortable bed and a great shower. We had a room with a view of the sea. Maybe a little more storage for clothes would have been nice. A little dates in areas but it had charm.
Breakfast was 14 euros extra each but so worth it. We were able to sit on the roof top space under a canopy whilst enjoying . Great selection and quality.
Staff friendly and helpful especially the breakfast team.
We will definitely come back and stay again .

Second time staying here in 2 years, location is excellent, clean and fresh throughout. Rooftop restaurant is a lovely location to eat and the food standard has remained very good. New bar is very cool looking and has a gorgeous outdoor seating area. Pool area is tranquil and clean. Lobby is beautiful when you walk in.
The bar area while nice lacks a bit of atmosphere, some music would be good there. The TV in our room wasn't great, could do with an upgrade. You pay for water in the restaurant.

Sehr schöner und kurzweiliger Urlaub
Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen bereits seit 8 Jahren in dieses Hotel und werden weiterhin kommen.
Beim Frühstück fehlen etwas Weichkäse, wie Brie oder Gorgonzola..
Die Butter schmeckt nicht wie Butter, sondern beide schmecken unserer Ansicht nach, wenn auch nach 12 Tagen angeschrieben, wie Margarine..
Die Fruchtsäfte sind leider auch nicht angeschrieben.

Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr vielfältig und gross.
Die 3 Kaffeemaschienen waren zu wenig leistungsfähig od. zu wenig betreut,es war immer mindestens 1 wenn nicht 2 davon nicht in Betrieb.
Der Butter war kein Butter auch wnn er so angeschrieben war, es war beides Margeriene!
Es wäre auch sehr hilfreich wen die Säfte angeschrieben wären und man wüsste was in den verschiedenen Karaffen drin ist.
Ansonsten war alles sehr gut????

Location was great. Elevator to the beach, plus almost directly across from the train station and plenty of shopping and food located in the area.
It’s a bit outdated but it doesn’t take away from the comfort.

Der Standort ist der einzige Pluspunkt
Auf Warmwasser wartet man erwig, auf die Aufzüge ewig und drei Tage.
Alles ist alt und stark abgenutzt, im Bad Schimmelbildung.
Keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, kein Kosmetikspiegel, keine Kosmetiktücher, kein Haarbalsam.
Wände hellhörig. Wenn der Zimmernachbar schnarcht, hört man alles. Zimmertüren ohne Dichtungen und ständig werden die geknallt. Doppelbett gewünscht, Einzelbetten bekommen.
Liegen ab 10 Uhr verfügbar und ohne Auflagen, balinesische Betten kostenpflichtig. Es werden keine Badetücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Man kann ein Tuch gegen 3,50 Euro pro Tag und das ist eine reine Abzocke für ein Hotel mit angeblich 4 Sternen.
Kein Strandabschnitt.
Beim Frühstück wird selten und langsam nachgefüllt. Melonen, Papaya usw. nicht geschält, damit der Gast ja den Koch die Hälfte der Arbeit abnehmen kann.
Ohne Geburtstag zu haben, wird man mit freiem Getränk zum angeblichen Geburtstag zur Bar geködert - das ist eher schlechtes Marketing und gar keine Kundenbindung.

Toppenfrukost och området superbra,
Wifi fungerade inte för mig och när man loggade in på Wifi med rumsnummer osv så kom jag inte vidare till säker inloggning för jag var svensk. Flaggor dök upp på länder vid valet av Wifi och Sveriges gjordes det inte så jag kam aldrig vidare med Wifi tyvärr. Fick ingen bra förklaring i receptionen så jag upplevde att dom inte var jätteduktiga på engelska. Valde man då inte säker anslutning så hoppade wifi ur hela tiden oavsett vart på hotellet jag var.

A beautiful hotel, recently refurbished. The bar terrace area was particularly attractive with views of Malaga harbour, also visible through the telescope! Drinks prices were reasonable and good quality. I did not have breakfast but heard it was superb. Non residents were welcome. My room was spacious for a small double and there was a fridge and kettle and English TV channels. Air con was quiet and efficient.
The bathroom was very big but there was no end panel on the walk in shower and though I was aware of that I still managed to soak the spare toilet roll which was at that end of the shower. Enquired about the lift to the beach but got confusing instructions and never found it. Better signage is all that is needed.

A most enjoyable short stay
Location ideal. Staff - without exception - excellent. Breakfast very good. Bed comfortable. Good selection of UK TV channels for British visitors.
Some 'hot' dinner dishes in the restaurant not very warm and only cold plates - a supply of hot plates would prevent the food going cold so quickly.
Pillows were too soft for me but that is just personal preference.

Short Break
Stayed here for a short break for 3 days. Location of Hotel is excellent and very welcoming.
One disappointment was the room 110 it was tucked into the corner of hotel and got very little natural light and definitely not a room you would choose to sit on balcony due to location. Room description stated USB charging ports which we found no evidence of .the walk in shower was good but if you used fully on the drain in shower cannot cope with water flow and you end up with a bathroom full of water very disappointing.
Plus sides to this hotel are the staff friendly courteous and helpful a credit to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and could not find fault.
Overall a great place to stay apart from a few problems. Would highly recommend the Hotel as the pluses out wayed the negatives

I would 100% go back and get the sea view again as long as Emilio isn’t there.
Proximity to beach and walking distance from everything. Clean, breakfast was good, Jose and the restaurant was absolutely amazing and accommodating. He really went out of his way to take care of the guests.
We could hear the dining room chairs being moved around every night around 10-11pm. The hot tub was closed. Emilio at the restaurant was very rude multiple days in a row and lied about allergy information instead of just saying he didn’t know. He was constantly acting like the guests were an inconvenience.

Great Stay
Had a lovely 4 night stay .. standard room 412 .. great size , comfy bed .. bathroom is great .. fridge and safe included .. hotel is very clean … breakfast is fantastic .. massive choice .. The hotel staff are so friendly from reception to the bar and the restaurant .. faultless .. Thank you .. our second visit and wont be our last .. pool area is great .. never struggled to get a sun lounger .. lift to the seafront … massive bonus .. Thank you and see you soon

Hotellet er jo gammelt, men ble renovert for 1-2 år siden. Innestengt/ litt muggen lukt når en kom på hotellrommet som gjorde oss betenkelig om det var bra for oss helsemessig. Fikk nytt rom, også her noe innestengt lukt som forsvant endel når aircon. ble aktivert.

Comfortable good value hotel in the centre of everything.
Very comfortable room with a lovely bathroom. It was central only minutes from the train station and square. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and the staff all very friendly and helpful.
There was a jacuzzi which I didn’t use as it was cold on a roof terrace.

Lovely stay
Lovely stay at the hotel for 10 nights. Rooms very clean and a good size, cleaned everyday and friendly staff. Food was very good quality and choices - we were half board. The older tall gentleman who often welcomed us in for meals was exceptional, and very welcoming, sorry I do not know his name. Location of the hotel was excellent for us, close to the train station and bars and local amenities. Super market right outside the hotel. Did not use the pool as it looked quite small however looked a good sunbathing spot, used the beach most days as this was less than 5 min walk away.

A gem of a hotel in the heart of Torremolinos.
This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Torremolinos. Brilliant access into the town via main reception. Two minute stroll to the left and you're on Calle San Miguel. There is also a separate entrance/exit which is more than handy for the beach.
Our room was very spacious and clean. Brilliant shower and a very comfortable bed. Good size balcony overlooking the pool area.
We enjoyed the food at breakfast and in the evening. Plenty of choice, including lots of healthy options such as fruits, salads and yoghurts. The hot chocolate was absolutely incredible. Only downside is that you can't pay cash for your drinks - it's either card payment or you pay on your wristband. It's at this point that my fiance and I would like to give a very special mention to Jose Miguel Torres. An absolute credit to the hotel and such a lovely man. It was sad to say goodbye on our last morning, but we'll meet again.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel to everyone. We would certainly stay again. We love Torremolinos and the surrounding areas. As others have mentioned. the hotel is only a five minutes walk to the train station. You're in Malaga in about 25 minutes.

Fantastic Hotel
Location is great everything literally on your doorstep, go out the back of hotel about 100 metres you are right on the beach, 5 minute walk you are at the shops bars restaurants, and the train station is also a 5 minute walk taking you to fuengirola or malaga, we also got the bus from fuengirola station taking us to mijas which was beautiful

This is the place to stay and eat in Torremolinos
I had a really great stay at Hotel Fénix Torremolinos. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent throughout the whole stay. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was also surprisingly large and well designed.
Even though the hotel is quite big and has many guests, it was still easy to relax by the pool and enjoy the sun on the sunbeds without feeling crowded. The location was perfect — you could easily walk directly to the center of Torremolinos and also reach the beach very smoothly whenever you wanted.
The hotel also offered a jacuzzi experience for an extra fee, which was a nice bonus for relaxing altough I did not try it myself. Breakfast was very varied and delicious, with something for everyone. Dinner was also excellent, with plenty of options and changing dishes, so you never felt like you were eating the same food every day. There were vegetarian options available as well.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and its food to anyone planning a holiday in Torremolinos!

Excellent hotel and restaurant
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Fénix Torremolinos! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The location of the hotel was also fantastic.
The breakfast was extremely varied and delicious. There were so many different options that everyone is sure to find something they like. Special mention for the warm dishes, the wide selection of fresh fruits, and the impressive dessert table.
The dinner buffet was also excellent with plenty of different choices available. It was especially nice that the menu changed every day, so the meals always felt fresh and interesting. Everything we tasted was very flavorful and well prepared.
A special thank you to waiter José Miguel Torres — he was always incredibly friendly, cheerful, and lovely to talk with. He quickly became our favorite! Thanks also to waiter Emilio for the great service.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It was easy to find a sunbed by the pool, which made relaxing very enjoyable. The hotel also has a rooftop jacuzzi area available for an extra fee, although we did not visit it ourselves.
We highly recommend this hotel both for accommodation and dining — definitely not a place to miss!

Lots of positives and a couple of negatives.
The staff was generally very welcoming and helpful. The location to the beach, the center of town and the train station are great. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever.
The views from most of the rooms aren’t great. There’s a very large hotel blocking the beach view. The early closing of the pool and gym hours are annoying. The gym needs towels and a water dispenser. The refrigerator in the room was very small.

This adults only hotel is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels my husband and I have ever stayed in. The decor is exquisite and the atmosphere is luxurious. It did not feel like a typical chain hotel at all. It felt unique and full of character. I was not aware that it was part of the palm chain prior to arrival.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was central to all bars, restaurants and shops. It is also located near to Malaga airport. The hotel itself is perfectly nestled into the cliffs of Torremolinos which therefore offers panoramic view points from both the bar and restaurant. The sea views are absolutely stunning. One of the highlights of the hotel was its direct beach access!!
The hotel felt super clean fresh and modern and I would like to note that the photos online do not do the hotel justice at all – in reality. It is even more impressive and beautiful in person.
The service we received was outstanding and every member of staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful – nothing was too much trouble.
I am gluten intolerant and every morning at breakfast I was brought Schar gluten free options - very happy!!!
This hotel is incredible value for money. Honestly, we could not recommend this hotel enough - it exceeded our expectations and made our trip to Torremolinos unforgettable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely hotel very easy access to the town and the beach via lifts in the hotel.
The room was lovely and clean we stayed in the suite room which had sun lounges on the balcony with a lovely sea view. And a separate sitting room with tv in there and in the bedroom . All staff are very helpful and kind it’s a great place to stay for couples

Lovely clean hotel .staff very friendly , drinks in bar were really reasonable and nice quality .
Pool area lovely warm pool . Sufficient sun beds but I imagine in peak of summer be quite snug . Sun goes in 5pm ish . Tried to get in sun terrace on top of hotel but could not get in with our room cards for some reason .
There is a lift we’re pool area is that take you out the hotel so you don’t have to walk down all the steps if was to go out the front entry so makes the walk 5mins compared to 20 mins . We never knew about this but overheard another guest so that was a result . Some lovely restaurants nearby and very good price .
We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was lovely from full English to pastries and continental defo worth the extra 20 euros we paid .
Room was lovely and clean however the storage was lacking needed some bedside drawers as struggled to put our clothes away in the tiny wardrobes with the most slim drawers I’ve ever seen .the best were lovely and comfy

Удобное расположение отеля, близко к морю, бассейн с подогревом, вкусная еда, нас порадовало наличие морепродуктов в меню ресторана, приветливый персонал .
Единственный минус это то что у нас не было балкона и из того что окна выходили к мусорным бакам, ночью было громко, когда вывозили мусор.

Lovely but compact
Lovely place. But avoid 6th floor as you have restaurant above with chairs scraping on floor all through opening times. Night time wasn’t nearly a problem but breakfast on the morning no chance of a lie in. Think there might be a struggle for sunbeds during the season, especially when the Germans go down and save half a dozen.
There’s a back door that leads down to the beach so it’s only a five minute walk which is really nice.

La situation de la chambre qui donnait sur la rue, très bruyant jusque tard le soir et tôt le matin. Pas reposant.

Good stay
3rd time returning to this hotel, very nice hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, room are good with tea, coffee, fridge and kettle, also bottled water as well. Bed were comfy but pillows were poor Shower excellent. Breakfast was grand with different choices, hotel pool was heated which was very nice. Hotel is split between top street and beach front which excellent also. Restaurants and bars nearby.
Pillows are poor so not the best sleep. Tv had only 1 english speaking channel. Please manager, breakfast cerals and fruit juices are rotten, this needs addressing. Jacuzzi on top floor looks fab, but its freezing, Jacuzzi is supposed to be hot, disappointing to see all the above have not yet being addressed from previous visits.

Very good
The location was excellent, staff very friendly and the room and the rest of the hotel immaculate.
I wanted a balcony with a view but was in a tiny inside room! As I was out all the time I did not complain.

Fantastic relaxing stay in a lovely location.
My third stay at this hotel, could not fault the staff service, location, and enjoyment staying here. The dining room and food were excellent, I especially love the roof top terrace with fantastic views. The evening entertainment on two of the nights was very good, and the pool area is lovely to relax and swim.
nothing, really enjoyed every aspect of the stay.
