The hotel sheets were bloody!! Two sets of them had stains. Had staff change them, and once they did, the reception attendant asked: “whats the problem? They are changed” Bathroom wasn’t clean, makeup stains and moldy showers. White towels were dirty looking. Only good thing was great AC in room.

I know it’s Europe but there wasn’t even enough space to open your suitcase. Plus the elevator only fits 2 people and takes forever.
Otherwise the champagne theme was cute and the service was great. Breakfast was convenient but a tad expensive. Amazing location, though, so perfect for exploring all day!!!!

The hotel was nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The man working the desk when we checked in was extremely nice. The area was walkable with many eateries close by. One of the major negatives was that the bathroom did not have a door or divider, so when one person was showering, the rest of us had to go wait in the lobby to give them privacy.

They were so helpful at the desk. They gave us recommendations for all our meals and made our dinner reservations. We loved the room. It was spacious, had everything we needed and was perfect for our situation (3 adults).

Wonderful Stay at Le Bulle!
We came to Paris on a business trip with 3 couples & reserved 3 rooms. The staff were so nice & accommodating. The morning breakfast & coffee options in the hotel lounge were perfect. We loved the location of the hotel & would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Less than 10 mins walk to metro (RER B and RER C). Warm welcome from Hossan when we checked in and he provided us with a map highlighting sights to see and provided a room upgrade. Room was comfortable , clean and quiet. The area is safe and sights are walkable - Seine 10 min walk. Lpvely bakery nearby too and lots of places to eat. Would stay here again - lovely hotel, staff and great location.

I’d like to start off by stating the good points which was the area the hotel was in a safe area and good walking distance to tram stops and notre dame. I walked to st germain which was helpful, and the Louvre etc…
The hotel cleanliness and suitability was poor… I noticed a smell coming from one of the cupboard/ draw in room 302 and on my last day I reached to get my scarf from there and noticed there was used smelly underwear left behind from the occupant before me. This was extremely upsetting, I ended up throwing away my scarf because the smell still lingered. Thankfully it was the only item I put in that cupboard and only discovered it on my last day. Had I seen it on my first day I would’ve left the hotel. It gave an eerie vibe and despite the affordability of this accommodation and the rest of the 4star reviews I believe there needs to be some more care into the cleanilness and hygiene. The curtain had suspicious looking white stains on them and finger prints on the wardrobe… I would say this place is actually a 3 star hotel. Other than that staff were friendly, and location was perfect. That’s all

Great hotel
I loved my stay there. Beautifully decorated hotel. Room was nice and clean and so quiet. Top quality food for breakfast. All staff members were so friendly and helpful. Location is also superb. Within walking distance to the cathedral and pantheon. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. I would definitely stay at this hotel when I visit Paris next time.

Everyone at Hotel Les Bulles were wonderful - from front desk Anita, Hazem, the lady in the breakfast room all the way down to the cleaning ladies - everyone is so accomodating in making sure we have the best experience while in Paris. The hotel location is also a convenient walk to Notre Dame, The Pantheon, The Louvre, and many good eateries around. This is a highly recommended hotel in our opinion and we look forward to going back to Les Bulles again some time in the future. Thank you all at Les Bulles for such a great experience of Paris.

The hotel’s location in the Latin quarter is perfect for exploring this historic area of Paris, a short walk from Notre Dame and the shops on boulevards St Michel and St Germain. Conveniently close to two Metro stations too.
The champagne theme predominates in the hotel’s decoration and there is a bar for sampling the delicious bubbles (« bulles » The staff are charming and helpful. The only downside was the lack of space in the room and the absence of a fridge.

Very nice clean hotel. We stayed in room 002 which had more than enough space for two people. The surrounding area was excellent,only 5 minutes from the pantheon and 10 minutes from Notre dame cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any inquiries that we had. Perfect location for a short city break.

Loved this hotel. Clean amd friendly. Plenty of places to eat and visit in the neighborhood. Every place we ate at we had friendly conversations with people next to us. The waiters were also great! My only complaint would be the size of our room. It was barely big enough for the bed. Moving around with 2 suitcases in the room was difficult.

I don’t recommend staying here. Room was dusty everywhere and hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The queen room layout doesn’t give you space to unzip a suitcase unless it’s on your bed. The shower is completely open, so the bathroom floor floods with each shower. Last, our AC broke our last night around 1AM and the room went up to 30 C/86 F. We just opened the window because it was so late. When I let the front desk know when we checked out so it could be fixed for the next guest, she angrily snapped at me that it was my fault for not reaching out at 1AM. I reinforced we did not because it was late and just wanted to let them know for the next guest. They ignored us afterward. Do not recommend.

I love the unique decor the property has. It's very eco friendly and the lighting option with key card is something every hotel should have. I was tucked away in a small courtyard away from everything so I definitely had quiet and lots of darkness for sleeping in and naps. The staff was very helpful, the place was clean and my room was very spacious. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Paris!

I booked 2 rooms. I traveled with my girlfriend & our daughters to celebrate my girlfriend beating cancer for the 2nd time and before her next surgery. Our flight was overnight, arrived at the hotel 6am. I prepaid $100 to get early check in for one room, so we could put our bags down & shower. Upon arrival we were invited to enjoy breakfast. We had coffee while we gave the girls the shower. At their leisure they ate the free breakfast. Hours later having not slept yet, the 2nd room was ready. After waiting 20 more minutes to get room while the same receptionist straightened up & did chores, insisted on we pay for the additional 2 breakfasts. While I mentioned she never said at any additional fee she listed all the "things she did for us"... we didn't ask for anything period. This was not a good way to start our trip. After the receptionist finished taunting us she told the inquiring employees that I was furious because I hadn't slept. Upon our departure the last day - at 5AM!! when we clearly were not eating any of the 4 breakfasts the receptionist would not check us out until we paid for the "extras".
The rooms were very clean. Staff does not assist with luggage. The area around the hotel was great. there was lots to do within walking distance. We all loved Paris, and loved the neighborhood. There was a very cute wine bar next store. It was a great trip to Paris in spite of the nasty lady at this hotel, we could have chosen anywhere - but we chose here. Epic Fail Bulles!

Upon arrival I was upgraded without even asking and was delighted. The king bedroom was so spacious. Very very clean and quiet. The property shows it’s age a little bit…but just in the decor but it seems like they’re doing updates. The bathroom was large for a Paris hotel. Convenient location, lots of cafes, lovely bakery nearby and a grocery store as well as laundry 1 block away. 7min walk from main train that takes you to and from airport. If you walk two blocks you’ll see gorgeous little shops along Saint Germain.
The front desk is staffed 24 hours. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is nice, walkable to many shops and restaurants. Staff is beyond friendly and rooms are good, the only thing is that I don’t think they are soundproof and you hear everything from outside. Other than that I recommend this hotel and I’ll definitely be back.

overall, this is a decent, clean, property, in a quiet, safe neighborhood. highly recommend the little cafe down the street, Maison FOREST, for coffee and pastries.
staff was very helpful upon check-in. our group arrived earlier than check-in time, very tired from a long day of travel. the staff stored our bags and got us into our 3 rooms as they became available. we also enjoyed the lounge with a bottle of champagne while we waited.
they also took care of our request to reserve a taxi upon check out.
the rooms are small (as to be expected in all Paris hotels), but clean. the AC worked well. only complaint was the duvet/comforter is polyester filled, and there was no top sheet, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably without overheating. there could be better wall hooks/shelving/storage options for luggage and clothing, as it’s a very tight room as-is. i ended up having to play jenga with my suitcase every time i needed to access anything in it.
the bathrooms are small as well, but the problem is with the shower doors, or lack thereof. the bathroom floor would be covered with water, and there appeared to be water damage to the cork sink bases (we experienced this in all 3 rooms).
only other complaint was none of the room safes were functional.

As other reviewers have cited, the room was incredibly small. In fact the advertising outside the hotel depicted our room for one person only, yet we were a couple. The classic room was advertised as for two and looked very different to the room we had been given. I checked our Expedia booking and we had booked a classic room.
Apart from this everything was fine and the hotel staff we very helpful, looking after our luggage before the room was ready and after we had checked out. They also helped with information for buses to the airport after the trains were cancelled.

This property was close to restaurants and shops however the stay was not very pleasant. The bathroom door would not open or close properly so one would get stuck in or out of the bathroom unless there were two people available to open the door. The shower would flood with water which would leave the entire bathroom covered in water. The staff was unable to help move us to another room or clean up the pooled water. The staff would not offer us a refund or any help at all. They would not even come up to look at the issue.

The staff is very kind and supportive. However the Classic Room is very very small with minimal space. The bathroom sink is in the bedroom itself. I would not recommend this room at all. The staff was kind enough to upgrade our room the following night however and the Deluxe room was great.

No VIP upgrades provided. Location was great! But the rooms are claustrophobically small for the price. The business room had the sink next to the bed, no sink in the toilet, thats how small the room was. This is not common for other 4 star central Paris hotels. I wasn’t provided a room upgrade although rooms were available even when my booking confirmation said I was eligible as part of the Expedia Gold VIP property purchase.

Room is too small for even one person to feel comfortable. No desk to work on, no chair. Hard, cold surface of a stool, placed at a narrow gap between the bed and the wall, making it very difficult to sit on. It doesn’t serve its intended function and is unfair for the guests. This hotel shouldn’t be given the designation of a 4-star hotel.

Crazy theme of champagne throughout the hotel, especially in the rooms....bubbles, and champagne corks!!
Fantastic location. Falling asleep looking at the Pantheon glowing at night was magical.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, making my stay totally enjoyable.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke and smoke came into the room under the bedroom door. Room small and cramped. Cab driver ordered by hotel stopped for gas on the way to the airport, overcharged and became super agressive with me, breaking my suitcase at the airport. Also very expensive for the room provided. Overall a very bad experience.

In general it was a nice boutique hotel. The walls were relatively thin for an older building and you could hear people above you. The rooms themselves were quite small, even for Paris, which is something to keep in mind. The elevator was also small and there was only one.

The room was quirky, and had all you needed apart from a shower so if you like baths this is the way to go as it had a lovely bath. Well worth a visit. Breakfast was good but if you get there first thing the cooked breakfast was not available.

Property was fine. Great location, ridiculously small rooms. Two people with bags on backs weren’t going to fit easily in the elevator. And whoever took pictures for this hotel needs a huge raise, because they made the place look inviting and spacious, when in fact the rooms were very, very cramped. Great style and decor, good breakfast, close to everything. It was overall just fine.

A compromising 4 star hotel
This champagne themed hotel is very creative and pretty, but not functional.
+strong air conditioner “needed in summer months”.
+fabulous location “almost everything is walkable”.
- the room was dinged up. Some damage on the walls and toilet and sink was repaired with tape.
- the ventilation is connected to lobby. In the morning we smelled breakfast toast and at night sometimes cigarettes from the terrace.
- most of the receptionist were cold and lifeless.
-while staying there for 4 nights the elevator broke once. “Thank goodness we were only on the second level”.
- The room looks cool but there is only one tiny shelf in the bathroom. Also the closet had only 5 hangers. I knew that the classic room would be small for a couple but it’s not enough store space for one person.
Overall: if you are looking for a great location and strong AC this place is for you. But, I’m not sure this is worth a 4 star hotel price.

Very quirky - staff were really friendly. The suite was a bit tired - holes in the wall, and no natural light, but the air conditioning worked perfectly and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Satisfied
Room is clean. Air conditioner works well. Location is good close to Notre Dame. Many food choices nearby. We have a queen bed and a twin bed, perfect for family. Room is very small but what do you expect, this is center of Paris.
