Perfect in Every Way
We loved everything about our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the staff, who made our experience even more special.
The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has everything you could ask for to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Every detail contributed to making our stay comfortable and memorable.
We had such an amazing time that we were genuinely sad to leave. Without a doubt, we would book this hotel again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Une carte postale!
Emplacement magnifique au calme et en bord de plage. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre et salle de bains avec beaucoup de charme. On a aimé croisé les mapachas et les iguanes comme voisins! Personnel de la réception (Ivan, Luis) très agréable et mention spéciale pour Carolina à la restauration qui était aux petits soins. Tout était parfait. Éloigné du centre ville (10 minutes à vélo) mais pour le repos que nous cherchions c’était idéal. Très proche de Punta Mosquito. Vélos fournis gratuitement par l’hôtel. Excursions organisées pour nous.

Beach paradise.
This place is paradise. Furthest down the main stretch of beach, with no road intersecting through the private beach. Very quiet and exclusive. Relaxing at the beachside lounge chairs was a dream, with service directly to you. The hotel has free bikes you can use to easily ride to town.
The entire design of the hotel is beautiful, very upscale feeling. Ivan, the concierge, was very helpful. We had an AC issue, and he swapped our rooms no questions asked, and we were treated to incredible views.
The restaurant is a bit pricey for the food, but the views are great. The only downside is the lunch restaurant is incredibly slow. But otherwise, a truly perfect getaway.

La decoración de la habitación y su amplitud. Además, nos pusieron un detalle muy bueno al ser nuestra luna de miel.
La cama no era demasiado cómoda y la piscina de adultos era muy pequeña y te quemabas al ser negra. Las habitaciones están muy bien pero creo que el área de las piscinas podría mejorar. También el desayuno podría tener más variedad aunque estaba muy bueno, pero algo más ligero para quien no quiere algo tan pesado.

Lovely hotel but there is a problem with their front line water pump
Las vistas por la localización en primera linea del mar. El desayuno muy completo y bueno, el personal amable.
antes de reservar asegúrense han solucionado el problema de las aguas albañales/ peste justo frente al hotel lo cual impide disfrutar de la playa y obliga a “invadir” el frente de otros hoteles.
Tenían un problema con agua estancada justo frente al hotel en la linea de arena hacia el mar, lo cual por el malísimo olor no nos permitió disfrutar de la playa, sentarnos en la arena o incluso en las hamacas del hotel, estuvimos 4 noches y no vimos ningún esfuerzo real en solucionar el problema , ponían una maquinita y un señor observaba con las manos en la cintura , no nos quedo muy claro el que.. esto fue una desafortunada sorpresa sobretodo en hotel con precios bastante altos.
Las bicicletas son viejas y muy mal estado.

Lugar para descansar
La cercanía de la playa, pasear por los bancos de arena.La habitación era cómoda y amplia. El bar junto a la playa era muy agradable. Los camareros casi todos eran muy atentos . Desayuno rico. Un detalle , mi marido perdió el reloj ( se lo llevó un mapache) y el jardinero lo encontró y lo devolvió , agradecimiento por la honestidad.

The rooms are a bit outdated and there are not enough smoking areas.

Just the location
The rooms were not clean enough for a hotel that presents itself as a 5-star property. Even basic essentials like a hairdryer were missing from the room.
The staff service was disappointing — we had to ask multiple times for simple things before getting any response. The hotel also advertises a private beach, but basic services there were lacking. Towels should be available closer to the beach area, and the beach service should be much faster and more attentive.
The shower water quality was not good, and during the night we could constantly hear loud water pipe noises, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
Overall, the experience did not match the standards expected from a 5-star hotel.

Vue incroyable, propreté, petit déjeuner copieux, faire attention à ne pas vous laisser avoir, vous avez vraiment le droit à tout ce qui n’a pas de prix inscrit.
Vélo un peu vétuste, mais c’est bien d’avoir!
Odeur nauséabonde en journée, venant d’eau stagnante devant l’hôtel, pas foufou pour profiter de la piscine avec l’odeur des égouts

Klare Empfehlung! Nicht günstig, aber das auch zurecht.
Wir hatten die südwestliche Honeymoon Suite mit Meerblick und sind nachhaltig begeistert. Das Zimmer selber ist geräumig und gut durchdacht. Das Bett steht mittig im Raum und ist zum Meer ausgerichtet. Im Bett liegend schaut man also über den großen Balkon auf das Meer. Im Raum findet man noch einen Jaccuzi, ebenfalls mit eigenem Meerblick und eine große begehbare Dusche auf einer Art Teller. Das WC mit Waschbecken ist in einem kleinen Räumchen abgetrennt und klein. Man hat gerne Zeit in der Suite verbracht. Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend. Das Meer ist wunderschön, der Strand davor und die Hotelanlage perfekt gepflegt. Die Angestellten sind sehr bemüht und achtsam es einem möglichst recht zu machen. Ab und an werden kleine Snacks verteilt. Drinks werden einem gebracht. Auch organisiert das Hotel Bootstouren auf Anfrage, oder bieten Yoga Sessions an. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer und bietet eine klasse Auswahl! Ich empfehle die Enfrijoladas - mein Favorit! Die Lage des Hotels ist klasse. Ja, es gibt Mücken. Aber: da die Mangroven auf der Rückseite des Hotels anschließen, ist man vor Lärm geschützt. Auch liegt das Hotel direkt an der Sandbank über die man entspannt in Richtung Punta Mosquito spazieren kann. Auf dem Weg wird man von Hechten, kleinen Stechrochen und anderen neugierigen Fischen begleitet.
Im Rahmen unseres Aufenthaltes gab es eine Hochzeit mit entsprechend lauter Musik, die allerdings um 23 Uhr abgestellt wurde. An Schlaf war bis dahin nicht zu denken.

L’architecture des piscines, de l’entrée est incroyable et jolie à voir.
La vue mer des chambres même en hauteur est top. Grandeur des chambres.
Piscines très agréable avec cette vue incroyable sur la mer.
Le restaurant de la plage est à recommandé sans hésitation: vue paradisiaque, excellente nourriture, bonne musique d’ambiance. Ça fait vraiment vacances. Même sur les transats, on a préféré le côté resto de plage que le côté adultes only qui fait tristounet. Mise à disposition gratuite des vélos avec cadenas: c’est super pour découvrir l’île.
Le côté adulte only n’est selon moi pas bien exploité. Il se trouve à l’extrémité de l’hôtel qui est presque le dernier hôtel de l’île. Pas de musique lounge, pas de service. On s’y sent un peu délaissé.
La douche qui coule dans un bois laisse à désirer: c’est sympa mais pas efficace du tout. Privilégiez la douchette.
Formule pas clair au petit déjeuner: j’avais lu bcp de commentaires donc j’ai anticipé et demandé l’explication de la formule inclue (faites-le et ne vous faites pas avoir car d’autres clients ont été surpris des charges extra): 1 chaud + 1 froid et boissons illimitées.
Présence d’eau stagnante entre la partie transats sur la plage et la mer dû aux marées et au fait que l’hôtel soit à la fin. C’est dommage car ça ne sent pas très bon (les hôtels plus centrés comme le Mawimbi sont épargnés)

Parfait
Tout. L’hôtel est magnifique, le personnel est adorable. Tout a été parfait. Petit déjeuners incroyables. Les vélos gratuits, la plage est très belle et c’est le coin le plus tranquille de la grande plage qui arrive du centre ville.
Un peu loin de la ville, mais il faut choisir entre le calme et la beauté du lieu ou plus de vie et donc un hôtel plus central

EN LA MEJOR PLAYA DE HOLBOX
Excelente ubicación en un entorno tranquilo y bello. Muy buen servicio en el restaurante (cena) y en el beach club (almuerzos). Habitación con diseño rústico y relajado, armónico con la naturaleza, sin perder la belleza y el confort. Nuestra habitación era la 29 (luminiscencia) con piscina privada, dentro de la habitación y un jardín con reposeras y hamacas. La playa frente al hotel, para destacar por su belleza. Se encuentra muy cerca tanto del centro como de Punta Mosquito (unos 20 minutos caminando hacia una u otra dirección). Hay un sector solo para adultos, en donde hay reposeras y 2 piscinas. Y una piscina con reposeras, cerca del restaurante, para las familias. Los desayunos son buenos.
Hay pocas reposeras y muchos turistas tienen Ia mala práctica de ubicar sus toallas en ellas desde temprano, aunque no las estén usando, y eso provoca que cuando se las quiere usar, no hay ninguna disponible

C’est notre cinquième séjour à villa flamingos et comme d habitude tout se passe tres bien , les chambres sont très confortables , petit déjeuner très copieux , coin beach club très agréable , c est calme , c est joli tout est parfait

Superbe séjour au bord de la mer avec les ratons laveurs, oiseaux & iguanes !
Notre chambre était très spacieuse et incroyablement belle avec une superbe terrasse rooftop avec un jacuzzi qu'il fallait quand même demander à la réception de chauffer quand on voulait l'utiliser. Le petit dejeuner est sympas et plutôt bien servit !
L'hôtel est quand même situé loin du centre ville de l'île, nous nous sommes déplacé en vélos, des fois un peu compliqué quand les routes étaient boueuses... Sympas quand il n'y a pas eu de pluie les jours précédents! De plus notre chambre était situé à côté de la réception qui était parfois un peu bruyante!

Spectacular location in Holbox with the best beach on the island.
Stunning location, nice array of pools, lounge chairs, plenty of towels, interesting rooms, responsive staff.
Raccoons. I would not have booked here had I known about them. in the US, raccoons are known to have rabies and they should be caught and relocated. I get the iguanas, and even the snake and mouse, but the raccoons are a menace. We also had a very strong odor of chlorine in room 29, which can be toxic. Thankfully we were allowed to sleep in an alternative room for the one night, but it was unpleasant and not a good experience. Overall the property needs a refresh, particularly for the price.

Séjour de rêve à Isla Holbox
Absolument tout.
L’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres spacieuses et bien agencées, le personnel est absolument adorable que ça soit à la réception, au restaurant ou globalement dans l’hôtel. La chambre était faite plusieurs fois par jours assurant un confort parfait (serviettes propres, eau remise, café, etc…). Le petit déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. Notre fille de quasiment 4 ans, mon mari et moi-même avons vraiment adoré et rêvons d’y retourner.
Nous avons moins aimé le restaurant au moment du dîner (excellent pour petit dej et dejeuner) mais holbox étant assez riche en propositions d’endroits pour le dîner cela ne nous a pas posé de probleme.

Paradise
We had a lovely weeks stay at the hotel. The staff are exceptional, they are all so friendly and helpful especially Samantha. The breakfast was the best! We really enjoyed our plunge pool in the room especially as it was warm and the evenings were chilly. The location is perfect just a short walk along the beach into town.
The beach was unusable due to all the seaweed. We asked to stay an extra night and the rates were 3x what we had originally paid.

Un vrai petit paradis
Cet hôtel est juste magnifique, c'est un vrai paradis ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux même si nous n'avons pas bien compris ce qui était inclus car le personnel ne parle pas forcément anglais ce qui est un peu dommage dans cette catégorie d'hôtel et rien n'est indiqué sur la carte. La chambre était extraordinaire. La plage juste devant était très agréable. Excentré donc au calme et des vélos sont mis à disposition pour aller au centre c'est top !
Le fait que le serveur au petit déjeuner ne parlait pas anglais. Nous n'avons donc pas compris ce que nous pouvions prendre. On nous ramène une carte, on choisit et on comprend juste que ce n'est pas possible, nous n'avons pas assez mangé. Vous devriez indiquer sur le menu ce qu'on a le droit de choisir dans le petit déjeuner inclus avec la chambre.

We were very happy and look forward to returning
It’s was a delightful resort quiet and clean. Laid-back vibe. Excellent Service , happy helpful staff.
The only thing we did not like was the special Valentine dinner. The food was terrible. Main dish cold and dry shrimp as if it was made hours before . We were left alone with no waiters in sight when a raccoon jumped up and ate my meal. The man sitting next to us (the only other couple ) had to go look for staff. I under about raccoons it wasn’t the wild life fault it was that the waiter was hanging out somewhere else. This was an e pensive meal and huge disappointment.This was the only disappointment

Toll
Uns hat das Hotel wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen nett und aufmerksam, alles war super sauber und das Zimmer mit dem warmen privaten Pool war einfach toll. Die Cocktails und das Essen waren sehr lecker und qualitativ sehr gut, wir haben alles bestens vertragen. Besonders schön war die Lage abseits vom Trubel der Hotelzone, was für eine angenehm ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre gesorgt hat.
Durch den warmen Pool war es im Zimmer teilweise recht feucht, aber dank der Klimaanlage war das gut auszuhalten. Beim Essen hätten wir uns hier und da etwas mehr Würze gewünscht ????

הניקיון לוקה בחסר נטו בגלל החולות, הזבובים והיתושים זה נורא. והיה ריח נוראי כל התקופה הזו ממש היה קשה לאכול בחוץ או להיות בחוץ

A nivel ubicación si bien es cerca no queda en pleno centro y hay que tomar taxi o utilizar las bicicletas que provee el hotel.

The staff and Ivan the manager!!! we had exceptional service, everyone was super professional, and everyone was super friendly and attentive. Makes the whole experience so much better.
Small negative would be the noise from the main road behind the hotel where the quad bikes would come past every day all day and sometimes play loud music. But that’s only because I am a light sleeper and could hear everything.

Het hotel ligt heel mooi gelegen aan het strand. Het personeel in het restaurant en in de bar is heel vriendelijk!
We mochten vanwege de erge chloorlucht (we hadden een klein zwembadje in de kamer) naar een andere kamer. Dat was fijn!
Je betaalt naar onze mening te veel voor wat je krijgt. Het ontbijt zit bij de prijs inbegrepen, maar je mag geen cappuccino bestellen. Alleen zwarte koffie. Twee cappuccino's kost dan weer 10€, terwijl je al veel geld hebt uitgegeven aan de accommodatie.
Het zwembadje in de kamer was slecht onderhouden (kalkresten en extreme chloorlucht). De schoonmaak houdt ook niet alles heel goed bij.
