For one night it is ok
Spent one night at Merit Kensington and I have to say that I am satisfied. Check in was easy and staff was helpful. Room a bit small, but ok with a modern bathroom. Breakfast selection ok. The hotel is located just behind the corner of the entrance of Earl’s Court Station, so the position is strategic.

Чистота лишь касалась постельного белья. Да, его меняли и оно было аккуратным. В остальном отель ужасен!
Не останавливайтесь здесь! Это даже отелем нельзя называть. А уж тем более 4 звезды???? 3- максимум! Это гостевой дом под управлением странных лиц. Персонал ходит в своей одежде. Тупо шорты и футбольное джерси)) Не приветливый, хамоватый. Мне заявили, что их правила выше моего отдыха и желаний)) кондиционирование отдельная история!!! Вас будут уверять, что работает все отлично, но это будет квест для вас с постоянными звонками на ресепшн) За всю мою большую истори путешествий и огромного количества отелей, я не встречал такого ужаса!!! Никто не пишет, что ресепшн и жилые номера в разных корпусах, с чемоданами никто не помогает, так что лиди тоскаются с багажом по лестницам туса сюда.Просто хотелось дожить и уехать.

Great for a short stay!
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. The room was a great size for London and the location is great close to the tube station. I'd book here again.
The lady serving the breakfast was a bit grumpy. She was definitely giving off a vibe haha.

Small but beautifully formed
I booked a single room - and boy was it small ! But that’s where the criticism ends.
My initial surprise at having booked a room no bigger than a double bed was very quickly overtaken by the fact it had everything I needed.
It was clean and (given it was 32oC outside) nicely air conditioned. All the lights worked, so did the tv; there were nice enough toiletries and the towels were crisp. The bed linen was fresh and the bed itself comfy. Check in/out was simple and the staff were friendly.
It’s 30 secs from Earl Court Road with all the restaurants and bars that that provides.
Not luxury but bang on “fine” - and that’s a compliment !

El hotel esta en una antigua casa victoriana a 3 min a pie del metro, linea que va directa al centro, la verdad es que por dentro está totalmente actualizado y moderno, las habitaciones tan justas que como lleves una maleta grande no sabes donde dejarla, pero tiene absolutamente todo lo necesario, secador de pelo, amenices, tv, te y café de cortesía y aire acondicionado y en nuestro caso no la necesitamos más grande, bueno solo quizás la mesa un poco justa. La limpieza impecable y te dejan dejar las maletas en el hotel antes del checking o del check out, del desayuno no puedo decir nada ya que no desayunamos ahí. Realmente repetiría

Ottimo solo per dormirci
Posizione comoda, camera molto pulita.
Il bagno è talmente piccolo da non poterci entrare. Non si riesce a fare neanche lo stretto necessario, si fa fatica a lavare i denti o la faccia. L’acqua della doccia non ha pressione.

The property was easy to find and the staff were quick at both check in and check out. The room was small but had everything you needed and was comfortable for a one night stay.
We were on the ground floor so we did not have a proper window and during the warmer months the room got extremely hot and the air conditioning wasn’t great. Despite turning it down it would reach 25 as we were sleeping.

Lovely, would recommend
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived before check in time but they were happy to watch our luggage for us in the meantime.
The room was very clean and modern.
The location was amazing. The hotel is situated in a very calm and beautiful street and you only have to walk 2 minutes to the nearest underground.

era la tercera vez que elegía este hotel. a pesar de haber reservado el mismo tipo de habitación que otras veces me dieron un mucho mas pequeña, te dabas golpes con las esquinas de la cama al caminar por la habitación. Solicité cambio y me dijeron que preguntara al día siguiente, pregunté al día siguiente y me dijeron que preguntara por la noche que era muy dificil el cambio porque no había salidas previstas de clientes. lo cierto es que si había salidas y eso se veía en recepción. Cuando pregunté por tercera vez me ofrecieron un UP GRADE por 80 libras que no acepté. yo no necesitaba ningún up grade, había pagado por una habitación doble en condiciones. En definitiva, no hubo cambio de habitación a pesar de ver entrar clientes nuevos todos los días de mi estancia.

London break for a few days
Great location close to Earls Court Underground. Lovely walk to Kensington Palace and gardens. Hotel was very clean and buffet breakfast was good. Our room was bright and very quiet. Air con worked well when it was required.

OK hotel maar niet bijzonder
Prima lokatie, goede douche, lekker bed, goede airco, fancy dimbare verlichting
Eenpersoonskamer was erg smal, tikje claustrofobisch, onder straatniveau, in de kelder dus eigenlijk. Wel met zicht naar buiten, als je naar boven keek kon je mensen op straat zien lopen. Het bureau was erg klein om aan te werken en de bureaustoel had geen leuning. Bij het inchecken was de man die mij hielp wat humeurig. Het uitchecken was een stuk vriendelijker.

Great location, next to tube station, clean modern rooms. aircon worked amazingly for a hot day. Felt safe in the area. Busy area with lots of hotels. Excellent value for money. Deluxe room was big enough for us with two cabin cases. Would stay again.

The place you stay is not at the Hotel itself where the reception is based, its two doors down in another building. The building feels eerie and dark, with no staff around unless requested from the other building, the air con was dead and raised this concern. I feel the room being located in a different location to what’s being advertised is mis-leading. I did book an extra night as I had an emergency.

Prijs kwaliteit helemaal goed maar mag wel duidelijk worden aangegeven dat de kamers klein maar fijn zijn.

Dakraam die niet open kan en je kan ook niet naar buiten kijken. Kamers zijn erg klein. Koffers in de lobby ziet er slordig uit.

Good stay at Merit and would consider it again in the future.
The room was lovely- very clean, tidy, and modern. Fortunately there was also air conditioning (stayed at a very hot time in London!)
It could have been clearer where exactly to go to check in since the hotel is across several entrances. The lift was also out of order, which isn't a problem for us, but would've been for less mobile travellers.

Best value for money (especially for single stay) and location
Room was tiny, but everything needed for single stay, yet there is double bad and very nice, comfortable bathroom with a huge mirror. Also you can control different level of lights through sensor panels

Stortsätt allt andra dag när vi skulle äta frukost hittade vi mögel i brödet och när jag gick fram till servitören så tog han brödet och sa OK inte ett ord om ursäkta mig det ska inte hända igen eller man skäms inte nånting. Konsekvensen blev att vi åt inte frukost i hotellet hotellpersonalen teckna så fort man frågade någonting så svarade de väldigt otrevligt på ett väldigt tyken sätt nej tack aldrig mer det hotellet det var det värsta vi har varit med om rena mardrömmen endast som var bra det var läge på hotellet vi var i hotellet bara för att sova på natten så det var inte värt pengarna inte ens i närheten

La taille de la chambre mais mauvaise surprise la salle d'eau , logée dans un espace minuscule était impraticable
La localisation,c'est pourquoi malgré un accueil très peu agréable nous y sommes retournes plusieurs fois.
Comme à chaque fois, sans doute parce que réservation via booking, chambre à côté de l'ascenseur mais cette fois c'était au RDC !! Tout l'hôtel a défilé devant notre porte , de jour comme de nuit , avec en.sus le bruit de la machinerie et le signal sonore. Impossible de dormir 2 nuits de suite!! Devant notre hésitation à prendre la chambre, la réception nous a assuré que nous n'entendrions rien. Entre deni et mépris quand nous avons confirmer notre mécontentement à l'accueil en fin de séjour, il se confirme que cet endroit se moque de ses clients et privilégie le taux de remplissage à des prix les plus élevés possibles au service clients.
C'était notre 6eme et dernier séjour dans cet endroit!!

Very tight bathroom, door opens inwards into a very tight space, a design with a pocket door desperately needed and to have taken 6-12inches off of room to make bathroom just that little deeper.

Muy agradable
Cercanía al metro , a 3 minutos . Zona con supermercados , farmacias y restaurantes para comer .
Calle tranquila . Hotel con aire acondicionado , nos ha cogido la ola de calor y gracias adiós que tenía , al parecer hay muchos que no lo tienen . Sala de desayunos muy bien y desayuno correcto.
No hay rampas para maletas y no estaría mal que en recepción supieran algo de español .

Bra läge från Earls court station. Rummet var fint men trångt och små rum. Fick tillbaka deposition vid utcheckning.
Personalen kunde vara trevligare. De var inte tillmötesgående. Helt okej hotell men hade inte bokat igen tyvärr.
