I had a late Checkin at midnight. I made this clear in advance. Still, I had to wait at the door for 10min, as the doorbell didn’t work.
No hot water. I had to do my shave with cold water.
Not in for the rate they would like to have.

Great location although this particular room is in desperate need of refurbishment
The location of the hotel is excellent really central and a stone throw to the colosseum. The reception staff were ever so friendly and keen to be of help. We were treated to a bottle of Prosecco and some nice amuse gueule. The room was dark and you could not see out of the windows as they were covered by an opaque film as they were street level so not helping with the darkness. We had a family room as we were travelling with our 21 years old daughter. The room was fairly small for 3 people, but not the end of the world. They had problems with the hot water tank, which from reading other reviews, is a regular occurrence so we had trouble getting a good shower. But the worse for me is the state of the bathroom. The mastic around the shower and the toilet are in terrible shape and should be replaced with haste, this is unacceptable in any respectable hotel. Finally, the breakfast, which is served next door, is very basic, not bad, but nothing to write home about. So disappointing overall unfortunately. We would not stay here again.

Ideal zur Erkundung des Centro Historico. Metro B (Colosseo) nahbei, Metro A (Manzoni) noch „fußläufig“!
Spitzenlage zum Colosseo und zu vielen kleinen und guten Restaurants, besonders geschmeckt hat es uns in der „Naumachia“! Sehr reichliches und auch schmackhaftes Frühstück (das direkt nebenan eingenommen wird)! Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Grazie mille!
Es ist vorstellbar, dass nach vorn gelegene Zimmer nicht dieselbe Ruhe bieten wie unseres, das nach hinten gelegen war. Um ein solches hatten wir gebeten, Wunsch wurde erfüllt :)

Very well located to the colosseum.
Shower didn’t work on first night but was repaired the next day, great turnaround. Hot & cold setting in the shower is very hard to set.
Breakfast offering next door was absolutely terrible. Cold scrambled eggs, bacon and frankfurters. Asked for fried egg but was too much trouble. Would be better with no breakfast to be honest. Curtains have stains on them.

The staff were so friendly and helpful.
We paid extra for breakfast…. The scrambled eggs were not cook properly. Chicken Vienna sausages cut in half, and oily bacon. Food was COLD, and when we asked for a fried egg, we were told “It’s not on the menu”. Our complimentary waters and teas were never replenished. We had to go and ask for them everyday.

O atendimento foi simpático, e a localização era boa.
Pequeno almoço muito diferente do prometido nas fotos. Pouquíssima variedade, nada atrativo, pouca qualidade e fora do hotel. Pagamos 2 dias de pequeno-almoço que nao foi usufruído.
Os quartos nao tinham nada a ver com as fotografias, pequeno, nao conseguia ter a minha mala aberta em nenhum sitio pois impedia a passagem, colchões muito moles e quarto a cheirar a mofo/esgoto.

Det var mögel i badrummet vilket gav en lukt i hela rummet. Handfatet var märkligt konstruerat - svårt att tvätta händerna utan att det stänkte. Litet rum med mycket ljud utanför.

La description de la chambre sur booking ne correspondait pas à la suite que nous avions réservé. Pas de salon comme indiqué dans l’annonce et une hygiène déplorable du jacuzzi. Nous en avons donc pas profité. La salle de bain jacuzzi étant remplie de mal façon dégageait une odeur nauséabonde. Dommage. Fuyez cette chambre. J’ajouterais, prise non fonctionnel, cafetière HS. Par contre je pense que cette suite ne reflète pas les autres chambres ce qui est dommage car je pense que notre séjour aurait été différent.

Assai consigliato. Struttura molto carina, come da foto. Staff gentile e disponibile. La stanza nonostante fosse affacciata sulla via era molto ben insonorizzata. La posizione è fenomenale.
Lo sciacquone era lievemente malfunzionante, ma davvero nulla di significativo. Piccoli guasti facilmente sistemabili. Segnalato allo staff che ne ha preso nota subito.

The Profumo Maison Colosseo was the perfect place to stay for a visit to Rome!
We chose the upgraded room and appreciated the comfortable king-size bed and the bottle of champagne that was in our room. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the historical sites in Rome on foot. Although the hotel is in the heart of the action, it was quiet (a priority for me, a light sleeper.) The staff was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
We bought tickets for the Green Line hop on/off bus because they were supposed to be cheaper than the Red line. The buses were so packed with people they didn't even stop at the bus stop we were at. There was no que so people were pushing and shoving to get to onto the bus. In spite of buying the ticket for unlimited on/offs, we used it for only 1 short ride. So we paid for the most expensive ticket and got very little value from it. We ended up walking to a couple of sites and then walking all the way back to the hotel. I do not recommend the Green line on/off ticket.

Rooms are clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They really get 5 stars.
My only problem with this place was the water in the sink that had almost no pressure and the water tempreture in the shower that was NOT consistent and cold water would flow randomly.

Clean room, the night time manager was really friendly and helpful. Tried his best under the circumstances.
Unfortunately due to a series of unfortunate events our hotel room had no WiFi, no tv and no kettle to make a hot drink. We were upgraded to the spa room which was in the basement so couldn’t even get phone reception. Although we did have the company of an overly friendly mosquito through the night.
The breakfast was also comically bad offering Kraft cheese, oily bacon, fluorescent coloured fruit juice, underripe bananas and greasy eggs.
The morning manager didn’t ask us how our stay was, I guess he didn’t want to know!

Small, lovely hotel by the Colosseum.
This is a lovely hotel located within walking distance of the Colosseum. It's rooms are small, but neat and clean. The beds are comfortable and the windows open for lovely breezes. The shower stalls were also very small since they're square with two doors that open.
The hotel is also located within walking distance of a ton of delicious restaurants, a gelateria, and convenience as well as souvenir shops. We tried several of the restaurants and they were all delicious.
We went to Italy for my mom's birthday and they had prosecco, chocolate, and strawberries waiting when we arrived. They also arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport which made arriving so much easier!
This is a small, lovely hotel in a great location in Rome. I highly recommend it!

Everything was excellent, except for some things that the hotel had no control over, such as litter and graffiti . Breakfast outside every morning, with a view of the Colloseum was delicious and most enjoyable! Thank you to the hotel staff and the restairant staff

Súper bien ubicado, muy limpio, me limpiaron la habitación cada día. La habitación era muy espaciosa y cómoda. El personal muy atento y amable. Encantada
Por poner una pega, que no es culpa del alojamiento sino de clientes mal educados es que varias noches algunos clientes se quedaban de charla en los pasillos y era muy molesto. Contacte con el personal del hotel y en ambos casos lo solucionaron inmediatamente.

The placement of the hotel was great, the people who worked there were kind and helpful. However there is no elevator for luggage, so you are hauling luggage up several flights of stairs to your room. The rooms are very small, VERY small. The bathroom can only fit one person, and the the bathroom area was pretty ran down and felt a little dirty. The side tables in our room were very dusty, and the bed and very large dips in the mattress, it was unpleasant.

Aircon in the room was set by the hotel and we could not cool the room enough.
