I have stayed here before and really like the hotel. I like the location, its style and cleanliness.
On this occasion the air con wasn’t working and it was very hot. I appreciate everyone was struggling but I had to ring twice for extra bottled water to be delivered to my room.
I felt that little was being done to mitigate the discomfort of guests.
This hotel is expensive and I expected a better response to a difficult situation.
I know that the air con couldn’t be immediately fixed, but more effort with water, discount on final bills or meals would have gone a little way to feeling they were trying to mitigate the discomfort.

The price per night is expensive and excludes breakfast. Given this we expected more than two tea bags and at least some biscuits. This is standard in other cheaper hotels we’ve stayed in.

On the fotos about the hotel was a foto with a space with computers, but when I asked on the reception can I use a computer, they answered, that it is no computers for customer using anymore.
When I first time arrived at the hotel I got the room with view on railways (4th floor), I asked to change on better room and got with city view on 10th floor, what was nice. So you can ask about better service…
Before my check out (what is usually up to 12p.m, cleaners twice come to my room at 11 a.m. and said that they will come back later, what is not correct, because door was closed on the lock and when they tried to open the door they was supposed to see red light after card connecting.

Stayed here whilst in London for the BTS concert, yes it may seem a far away choice but it’s very easy to get to Tottenham ground as it’s close to the tube station and there’s lots of food around St Pancreas for after the concert. Been to a Pullman in Paris and it’s always very nice, lovely atmosphere, rooms are perfect, comfy & very clean & even have an iron which I appreciate. Yes it’s expensive, around £350 for one night and I was out for most of it, but imo I don’t mind paying because I know what I’m getting is good.

The check in was great, staff excellent. Hotel looked great in the lobby. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable- wonderful view. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous- great quality and selection, really enjoyed it. Service was great too.
Music from the ceilings speakers was a bit loud in the lobby and one of the lifts was out of order from when I arrived to when I left, which was annoying with more people. The room was lovely, but clearly "well loved" so could do with a touch up here and there - the aircon was a god send. The water in the shower wasn't very consistent in temperature so didn't make for the best shower.

Buyer Beware
The only reason my rating is 2 instead of 1 is because the room itself is lovely and the bed very comfortable.
The hotel is a short walk from St Pancras and Kings Cross train stations. Its a very busy area.
We checked into our hotel quite late as the trains ran late all day. Check in was efficient, nothing special.
We got to our room and it was hot and muggy. We called down regarding the room temperature and were quickly told they do not have air conditioning only air control.....which is nowhere near the same. I then asked for a portable fan to at minimum move some air throughout the room. The window opens approximately 4 inches....not enough to allow air movement and the road outside is very noisy so curtains closed was the only option.
At that time I also requested ice as i have medication that needs to be kept cold. Service arrived at the door with a blow dryer and no ice. I called back for a 3rd time requesting a floor fan and again ice...as the refrigerator in the room is not cold. This time service arrived with a small oscillating fan
...again no ice. Now its midnight and we are exhausted. Laid on top of the covers with the fan going and were able to get some sleep.
For $400 a night I expect more. Again the room is nice. Service had a lot to be desired. Extremely disappointed.

I had booked bed and breakfast but didn’t realise we would have to leave at 7:00. I asked about an earlier breakfast and was offered a breakfast box which I could collect in the morning prior to leaving. The following morning there was no breakfast box and no-one seemed to know anything about it. Quite disappointing, other than that everything else was good.

Die Lage zu St. Pancreas war toll, weil wir einen sehr frühen Eurostar hatten und leicht, mit unseren Koffern, zum Bahnhof gehen konnten. Check-in und out waren schnell, gute Restaurants waren überall in der Nähe !
Das Zimmer war „heruntergekommen“ und völlig überbezahlt, auch wenn ich weiß, dass man für die Lage bezahlt. Ich würde eher eine andere Unterkunft buchen … (Ich gebe nur ungerne schlechte Bewertungen !)

Excellent last stop on a splendid European rail holiday
We had arrived into St. Pancras International after a tiring day travelling from Switzerland. The proximity to the station was great. We also appreciated how close we were to King's Cross station for our onward journey home. Loved the large comfortable bed and all the facilities in the room. The location was ideally situated to visit the British Library and meet family at Coal Drops Yard for lunch.
The lighting in the room could have been better, particularly as one downlighter was not working.

Delusions of grandeur, poor value for money, stay somewhere else

Hotel has delusions of grandeur. It is grossly overpriced for the quality on offer. Room was scruffy and in need of some refurbishment. The provision of tea, coffee and normal hotel "essentials" was really poor. To charge £250 a night just for a bed in a room that is no better than the Premier Inn over the road just reinforces the view that it thinks itself better than it actually is. Poor value for money. Won't stay there again

I have a round bum.
Location next to St Pancras exceptional.
The back of the toilet seat was flat or horizontal. Inconvenient because I have a round bum which didn't fit. Shower tap was very stiff, but excellent flow. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Of course it's expensive but you knew that when you booked it! Lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. Very close to train platforms at the other end of the station. Shops on your doorstep. Great restaurants in the immediate area. Very classy when you see it from the outside.
I did mention a small problem to staff when checking out and basically it was ignored. An apology and acknowledgement would have been nice.

Promotional photos make this hotel look fabulous but the reality not so great unfortunately.
Easy location and friendly staff, fridge with bottled water in the room.
No ramp at entrance and didn’t once get helped with cases. Walls are paper thin so woken often by other guests and cleaning staff. High service charges added so 2 bar drinks cost over £40 and hotel generally overpriced.
