Decepcionante y antihigienico
Nada... De lo peor, solo justifican con mentiras
Nuestra estancia fue una experiencia extremadamente decepcionante debido a los numerosos problemas de higiene detectados. Desde nuestra llegada, la habitación presentaba un aspecto descuidado y muy diferente a lo que esperábamos. Dejamos nuestras maletas y salimos a realizar un tour. Sin embargo, lo más preocupante ocurrió al regresar por la noche: después de ducharme, encontré varios pelos pequeños en la cama, algo totalmente inaceptable para una habitación que supuestamente había sido limpiada y preparada para nuevos huéspedes.
Este hallazgo encendió todas las señales de alerta y nos hizo perder por completo la confianza en las condiciones de limpieza del alojamiento. Como huéspedes, no tenemos forma de verificar los procedimientos internos del hotel; únicamente podemos evaluar el estado en que recibimos la habitación, y este no cumplía con los estándares mínimos de higiene esperados. El papel del baño a nuestra llegada ya estaba utilizado.
La explicación recibida por parte del hotel, indicando que tienen personas externas encargadas de lavar las sábanas, eso no resultó convincente ni resolvió nuestra preocupación. Pedimos cambio de habitación y nos dijeron que no habían habitaciones, solo cambio de sábanas, sentimos que fuimos una burla y que fue minimizada esa situación que debería tratarse con la maxima seriedad. Además, observamos otras deficiencias de limpieza como una toalla de baño doblada en el piso. Anexo fotos. Debido a la falta de confianza en las condiciones de la habitación, nos vimos obligados a abandonar el hotel durante la madrugada, afectando seriamente nuestro descanso antes de un vuelo internacional.
Pagamos por una habitación limpia, segura y adecuada para descansar. Lo que recibimos estuvo muy por debajo de cualquier estándar razonable de higiene y servicio. Compartimos esta experiencia para que otros viajeros revisen si está todo limpio, y para que el establecimiento revise de manera urgente sus protocolos de limpieza y control de calidad.

This is an interesting boutique hotel close to Monesteraki Square.
The location was great for getting to local sites. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. Not a fan of the platform bed though. A little noisy at night from the bar next door. Staff was awesome!!
We didn’t like the late night noise and all the graffiti on the buildings.

Krystal at the front desk is really awesome - very friendly, efficient, and helpful
There is a storage room, which is not common in similar Athens hotels
We did not like the design of the room - to our mind it looks industrial/raw, and was not comfortable. The hotel looks dark and gloomy.
The area is quite noisy, but when we shut the windows it was reasonable and we could sleep
Breakfast can be significantly better

Hotel in de wijk Psiri
De locatie in Psiri dicht bij Monastiraki. Personeel bij de receptie heel vriendelijk en enthousiast. De badkamer en de douche waren prima. Genoeg plek om koffers en kleding neer te zetten of hangen (standaardkamer).
We hadden een standaardkamer, niet erg ruim, aan de straatkant. Door het ingebouwde bed voor ouderen lastig in en uit komen. ''s Avonds heel veel lawaai door de bars in de straat. Bij het ontbijt zou wat meer keuze uit brood wenselijk zijn.

Almost perfect
Location is perfect, just near 3 min to walk both monastiraki square and metro. Room is great. It was second stay for us. At the last minute, my daughter and I decided to stay as a third person, and the staff were very helpful with the room change. If I were to come for the third time, I would choose this hotel again. The breakfast was also quite satisfactory and sufficient.
I would have preferred the toilet to have a bidet (it doesn't). There could have been a wardrobe (you hang clothes on open hangers). In most rooms, the wash basins are inside the room, not in the bathroom. However, these issues are not very significant and are easily tolerable, especially considering the hotel's other positive aspects in other important areas.

Great option for central Athina
Both the reception and the breakfast staff were amazing, warm and helpful.
The food served at breakfast was high quality and pretty good.
Room was spacious, perfect temperature, bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Amazing position, five minutes away from monastiraki, lots of restaurants and taverne in the area (psyrri), right over a pub. It was really nice!
Breakfast was good but there was little to no variety in selection.
One socket near the bed to plug either a phone charger or the abatjour.

Amazing stay in Athens!!
Cute hotel with only 9 rooms at a perfect location, close to everything you need in Athens. The staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending places and all we needed to know. We stayed in two different rooms and both were great and comfertable.
They didn't have gluten-free bread available at the breakfast but we just bought some in the supermarket so solved the problem ourselves.
During the weekend it can be a bit noisy from the street but it didn't bother us, and the hotel provides earplugs :-)

Le personnel a été très sympas et super arrangeant avec nous. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. L’hôtel est idéalement placé pour découvrir Athènes !

המלון ממוקם במרחק של 2 דק מכיכר מונסטראקי , ומאזור המסעדות השופעעעעע בפסירי . הצוות מדהים מדהים מדהים !!!! קריסטל מהקבלה "שמש" ,חייכנית, מהממת , קיבלה אותנו בחיבוק ענקי - כייף ענק ! הלנה וטאו גם הם מהממים, קיבלו אותנו בסבר פנים יפות ועזרו לנו בהכל!

מיקום מרכזי קרוב לכל האתרים ולרכבת תחתית חדר ענק נקי מחליפים כל יום מגבות ומנקים אספרסו בחדר תה קפה פן טוב לאישה .ארוחת בוקר חביתה עם גבינה וזתים טוסט שתיה חמה לנו זה הספיק.אמרנו להם שהטיסה שלנו בבוקר מוקדם הכינו לכל אחד תיק עם ארוחה. בוודאות אחזור לשם.צוות המלון ממש עוזר במיוחד כרסטינה.

החדר מרווח ונקי מאוד.
החדר כמו בתמונות.
הכל היה מעולה אבל כמו שאחרים רשמו קצת רעש מהרחוב - לנו לא ממש הפריע.
ארוחת הבוקר בסיסית אבל שוב לנו זה הספיק.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the breakfast quite good. The greatest benefit though was the location.
The noise from the bars and cafes was a bit annoying but earplugs had been provided so everything turned out fine

Very limited options on the breakfast in a small dark place on the top floor, with no view and an average decoration. A Fresh orange juice would definitely add some extras, or some other options for coffee, not just black coffee. Also a small bread and cheese variety or some sweet options.
Although, there is always a nice lady who is preparing fresh omelets, upon request. There is a lot of room for improvement and this place can be really transformed.

Breakfast was basic but good.
There was no door or curtain in the shower so there was water all over the bathroom. The material of the sink was very dirty.

I was surprised about the size of the room because it was huge! Then I discovered that I had accidentally booked a junior suite, which was a nice surprise from me to myself. The room was super comfy, the bed was huge! Everyone at reception were super friendly and helpful. They had really nice breakfast, you could order omelette, scrambled eggs etc, there was a great variety of fresh fruit. But the best part was the location! On the same street there was a popular bar, restaurants and a 24h store on the street corner. It had tons of bars and restaurants close by and the area overall felt very safe for a female solo traveller. If you enjoy nightlife, restaurants and staying in a lively neighbourhood, I truly recommend and it definitely was worth the higher price tag.
I heard a little bit of noise from the bar across the street but it wasn't super loud in the room and I didn't mind personally, but if you mind or are a light sleeper then please be aware. I had earplugs in the room though!

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We could check in 30 min early as our room was already made up, and they prepared us a takeaway breakfast for our last morning as we had an early night.
Excellent location, we walked everywhere and felt at ease in the neighbourhood.
The street is quite lively, so there was a bit of noise at night, but we had been aware of this at the time of booking, the hotel provided earplugs, and the windows do a pretty good job re: noise cancellation, so we didn't really mind. The blinds also keep out light quite well, so we could sleep in.
It was surprising that the basin was next to the bed and not in the bathroom, but other than being a bit odd, it was perfectly okay.
Would be nice to have a wardrobe/some drawers in the room, maybe.

The property is certainly significantly more dates than the photos. While the staff was nice the noise from the surrounding bars was intolerable. It’s not just background city noise it’s loud pounding music until 4 am . They know this is an issue since they leave you earplugs in your room. After a long international fight and then two nights without sleep I left there completely exhausted.

The location of the hotel is excellent with lots of bars close by which does make it noisy but it’s worth it . Staff were very friendly and helpful and responded to an issue we had with our room very promptly. Thanks Fountain staff we had a great time !

This hotel was amazing. From the staff to the room I have no complaints. Although the outside area may seem sketchy don’t let that fool you as we were out throughout all times of the day and night. There were plenty food options nearby and it’s very close to Monastiraki and the acropolis. While the bars are open late we could not hear the noise from our room and we were able to sleep just fine with no issues.

Erittäin siististi hoidettu talo hyvällä perusaamiaisella. Auttavainen henkilökunta. Viiden minuutin kävelyn etäisyydellä ehkä 100 erilaista ruoka- ja kahvipaikkaa, joissa varaa valita. Akropoli ja muut merkittävät antiikin kohteet kävelyetäisyydellä.
Talon ulkopuolinen melu yöllä häiritsi eikä ihme onhan sijainti keskeinen. Huoneesta löytyy korvatulpat halukkaille.

Staff were super helpful and made us feel welcome. One thing that was not so good was that the breakfast started at 0830 and finished at 11. We were out early every day and so only option was to take a packed lunch that they provided. It worked but we generally eat out when possible.

Good stay, the bed was huge, the staff friendly and the location is in a lively neighborhood.
A bit of noise from the street with bars (they give you earplugs). It was mentioned rooftop downstairs but there is no view, it is just the last floor.

The room was mediocre. I didn't like the bathroom. I didn't like the shower. Water was everywhere. Near the facebowl and toilet. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Krystal was amazing and accommodating! I just need a better room.
